As an Electrician within Circet’s Home Energy Department, you will play a vital role in delivering clean, smart energy solutions to residential
customers. Your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient installation, testing, and commissioning of domestic Electric Vehicle (EV)
chargers and Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems. This is a field-based role that demands technical excellence, customer service, and adherence to
health and safety and industry standards.
To understand your role fully you must realize that you are managing your assigned area and as such your main priority is to deliver to
your client and in doing this you are delivering to Circet. Remember you are Circet on the Front Line.
1. Carry out installations of domestic EV charging systems and solar PV systems according to specifications and customer
requirements.
2. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, codes, and regulations while working on electrical Home Energy
installations.
3. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in electrical systems, equipment, and tools, ensuring accurate and efficient
installation and troubleshooting of EV car Chargers and PV installations.
4. Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing their inquiries, explaining
installation procedures, and providing over the should support upon installation.
5. Perform electrical testing, fault finding, and commissioning of systems to ensure compliance with current regulations
and manufacturer guidelines.
6. Complete and submit all necessary installation documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
7. Provide excellent customer service on-site, including clear explanations of systems to homeowners.
8. Keep up to date with the latest regulations, technologies, and products related to home energy solutions.
· Fully qualified Electrician with Level 6 or equivalent.
· Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
· inspection and testing certification.
· Knowledge and experience with domestic electrical installations, ideally including solar PV and EV charge points.
· Additional qualifications in renewable energy (e.g., solar PV, battery storage, EVCP) desirable.
1. Electrical Qualifications: Possess a valid electrical trade qualification/certification or relevant electrical license.
2. Experience: Demonstrate prior experience in electrical installations, repairs, or maintenance, preferably in a smart meter or similar
program.
3. Knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
5. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with customers and collaborate with
team members.
6. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and precision in electrical work, ensuring compliance with standards and
specifications.
7. Safety Consciousness: Deep commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
8. Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing project demands, schedules, and locations as required.
9. Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license to travel to various work sites.
Reporting to team Manager, this role will be responsible for leading, directing, and delivering all activity in relation to Health
& Safety. As a Home Energy Electrician, you will lead and drive compliance with regard to standards, policies and procedures
set out by the Group. You will carry out high standards of Health & Safety, and develop and promote a best-in-class safety culture
in conjunction with your quality management team.

every resource available to you to deliver to our client.
As a Home Energy Electrician, you are entitled to the full support of your Team Manager, the Dispatch team all other departments within
CIRCET to help you carry out the duties outlined in this document to the best of your abilities.
To ensure you are fully equipped to perform your role, you will be provided with Training both internally and externally (including achieving
qualifications) from time to time, you will be expected to accommodate this training.
