Sherpa Kids is looking for passionate individuals to join our growing team in the Dublin, Meath, Kildare, Wicklow and Cork areas.

Job description

Our service requires an enthusiastic and passionate school-aged childcare/after-school assistant who is committed to providing quality, reliable service to school-aged children.

This role requires someone dedicated to building strong partnerships with their team, with schools, with families, and with children.

Locations: Dublin- 

Working Hours- 15 to 25 hours weekly 

Start Date: Immediately to allow for adequate training, reference checks, and garda vetting before the school term commences.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: Starting from €14.33

Programme Assistant Duties include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day activities in a caring and fun environment.
• Interacting with the children, their families, and other staff members each day.
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Requirements:

• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred (Minimum 1 year)
• Experience working in a team 
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after the interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential (A working Visa which permits you to work more than 20 hours per week)
• Reference checks x2 required before starting.
• Be flexible (during term and non-term time).
