Sherpa Kids is looking for passionate individuals to join our growing team in the Dublin, Meath, Kildare, Wicklow and Cork areas.

Our service requires an enthusiastic and passionate school-aged childcare/after-school Programme Coordinator who is committed to providing quality, reliable service to school-aged children and who can lead a team. This role requires someone dedicated to building strong partnerships with their team, with schools, with families, and with children.

Location: Dublin- 

Working Hours- 27.5-35 hours weekly (including non-contact time for admin).

Start Date: Immediately to allow for adequate training, reference checks, and garda vetting before the school term commences.

Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Salary: Starting from €15.33

Programme Coordinator duties include:

• Managing the administrative duties
• Leading a team of school-aged childcare professionals.
• Planning the day-to-day activities in a caring and fun environment.
• Interacting with the children, their families, and other staff members each day.
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.

Requirements:

• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred (Minimum 1 year)
• Experience working in a team and leading a team effectively.
• Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after the interview stage).
• The manager needs to be available and authorised to work for 35 hours weekly during TERM time and non-Term time. 
• Work Permit/ VISA essential (for more than 20 hours a week)
• Reference checks x2 required before starting.
• Own car
